Questions.
Does Tab Tidy AI upload my tabs, chats or history?
No. All grouping runs in your browser. Nothing is sent to us, and we run no servers. Optional AI uses your own key and receives only page titles and site names.
Why does it need access to my history?
Only for Tidy History, which reads the date range you choose and groups it on your device. Removing pages always shows exactly which ones first and waits for your confirmation.
Does it change anything on ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini?
No. Folders and cleaned-up titles are only shown in your browser. Tab Tidy AI never calls those sites' private APIs or touches your account.
Which browsers are supported?
Chrome and Microsoft Edge, plus Brave and Opera. Arc works in a limited way, because Arc doesn't let extensions add sections to its sidebar.
Can I undo a tidy?
Yes. Undo restores your groups and reopens any duplicates that were closed.
